National Service Scheme (NSS)

Our college has an active and highly motivated National Service Scheme (NSS) unit affiliated with the University. The NSS unit provides an excellent platform for students to engage in community service, develop leadership skills, and foster civic responsibilities.

Key Activities:
  • Annual Special Camp: A 7-day camp hosted in an adopted rural village focusing on cleanliness, health awareness, and water conservation.
  • Regular Cleanliness Drives: Active participation in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaigns across the campus and local communities.
  • Health & Blood Donation: Organizing health check-up camps and voluntary blood donation drives in association with civil hospitals.
  • Social Campaigns: Organizing rallies and seminars for voter awareness, environmental protection, road safety, and gender equality.

Sports & Cultural Activities

We promote the holistic development of our students by offering adequate facilities for physical education, competitive sports, and cultural expressions.

Gymkhana & Sports
  • Outdoor Games: Volleyball court, Cricket ground facilities, Kabaddi, and Kho-Kho play areas.
  • Indoor Games: Chess, Carrom, and Table Tennis equipment.
  • Competitions: Encouraging student participation in inter-collegiate, zonal, and university-level athletic meets.
Cultural Programs
  • Annual Gathering: A cultural festival showcasing student talents in dance, music, drama, and debate.
  • Youth Festival: Representing the college at the University Youth Festival in diverse group and solo events.
  • Days Celebration: Celebrating national festivals, traditional days, and commemorative events to promote harmony.

Student Scholarships

To ensure that financial constraints do not hinder educational pursuits, our college office assists students in applying for various state and central government scholarship schemes through the MahaDBT portal.

Government Schemes Available:
  • Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship: Applicable for SC, ST, OBC, VJNT, and SBC category students.
  • Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti: Fee concession for Economically Backward Class (EBC) students.
  • Minority Scholarship: State and national scholarships for students belonging to minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi).
  • Divyang Scholarship: Welfare scholarships for students with physical disabilities.

Student Code of Conduct

Students are expected to maintain the highest standards of discipline, academic integrity, and mutual respect on campus.

General Rules:
  • Attendance: Minimum 75% attendance is compulsory in both lectures and practical sessions to qualify for university examinations.
  • Uniform: Students must attend the college in the prescribed uniform daily except on designated civil dress days.
  • Identity Card: The college ID card must be worn visibly around the neck at all times inside the campus premises.
  • Decorum: Rowdy behavior, damaging college property, or using abusive language on campus will attract strict disciplinary action.

Student Support Committees

The college has constituted active cells and committees to address student grievances, ensure safety, and promote an inclusive campus ecosystem.

Women's Empowerment Cell

Addresses grievances related to female students and staff, promotes gender sensitization, and organizes self-defense and health seminars.

Anti-Ragging Committee

Ensures compliance with anti-ragging laws. Ragging is a punishable crime, and the campus maintains a strict zero-tolerance stance.

Grievance Redressal Cell

A formal desk where students can submit academic or infrastructural complaints. Grievances are reviewed and resolved quickly.

Student Council

A representative student body that works closely with the faculty to organize co-curricular events and voice student requirements.
